About the Role & Team

We are currently looking for an entrepreneurial Manager Brand Partnerships to join our sales team. The focus will primarily be on acquiring new business opportunities for ESPN, the leading sports channel in the Netherlands, while also identifying partnership possibilities across the wider Disney channel portfolio.

As Manager Brand Partnerships Disney Advertising, you are responsible for initiating and securing new commercial collaborations. You have a strong understanding of how brands can authentically integrate within high-quality content — from live sports to lifestyle programming -and tailor made activations.

Your business-driven creativity is key in this role: you think conceptually, develop original campaign ideas, and persuade brands with impactful formats that align with both their brand values and our channel identities.

You will work closely with various internal teams, including Marketing, Programming, Creative, Finance, and Business Intelligence (BI), to ensure that each proposal is strategically sound, creatively distinctive, and commercially viable. Together, you’ll translate ideas into compelling content, supported by data and insights that drive success for both the client and our channels.

This role will require you to be working 4 days a week in our office and 1 day from home. 

What You Will Do

  • Acquire new clients and advertisers, with a focus on sports-related brands and sponsors.

  • Develop creative branded content proposals across ESPN and other Disney channels.

  • Translate client objectives into original, editorially relevant, and measurable content campaigns.

  • Create persuasive presentations and proposals, including visual concepts and storytelling.

  • Build and maintain a strong network of brands, agencies, and media partners.

  • Stay up to date with market developments and trends in media, sports marketing, and content integration.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in branded content sales or media partnerships, preferably in TV, digital media, or sports.

  • Proven track record in developing and selling creative content concepts.

  • A strong and relevant network within the media, advertising, and/or sports industry.

  • Strong creative and commercial instincts: you recognize opportunities others might miss.

  • Excellent communication skills and persuasive abilities.

  • Fluency in Dutch and English (written and spoken) is required.

  • Affinity with sports is a strong plus.

  • You are proactive, take ownership, and know how to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

  • You are results-driven.
