About the Role & Team

As a Project Manager specializing in brand partnerships with a focus on ESPN and 24Kitchen within The Walt Disney Company (TWDC), you will play a crucial role in driving the strategic development and execution of partnership initiatives to improve brand visibility, engagement, and revenue generation. Reporting directly into our Senior Manager Brand Partnerships and PR, you will be pivotal in encouraging collaborations, managing projects, and supporting with identifying commercial potential opportunities within the ESPN and 24Kitchen brands.

The role will be initially fixed-term for 9 months.

This role will require you to be onsite 4 days a week.

What You Will Do

Project Management:

  • Lead end-to-end project management activities for brand partnership initiatives, including planning, execution, monitoring, and evaluation.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of projects within scope, budget, and timeline.

Strategic Partnership Development:

  • Identify, establish, and manage strategic partnerships with external brands, agencies, and organizations to improve the visibility and reach of ESPN and 24Kitchen.
  • Collaborate with internal team members to align partnership objectives with business goals and brand strategies.

Commercial Potential Development:

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new commercial potential opportunities for ESPN and 24Kitchen.
  • Develop innovative approaches to monetize content, products, and services through partnerships and collaborations.

Relationship Management:

  • Nurture and maintain positive relationships with external partners, sponsors and other collaborators to drive successful collaborations.
  • Serve as the point of contact for partner communications, negotiations, and contract management.

Performance Tracking and Reporting:

  • Define key performance indicators and metrics to measure the impact and efficiency of partnership initiatives.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior leadership to communicate project progress, outcomes, and recommendations.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Extensive experience in project management, brand partnerships, and commercial development within the media or entertainment industry.
  • Solid understanding of the sports and culinary content landscape, particularly in relation to ESPN and 24Kitchen.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic problem solver with a results-driven approach and the ability to drive innovative solutions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment and lead multiple priorities simultaneously.
