The Integrated Facilities Planning (IFP) team facilitates the development of an integrated recurring investment plan. The plan provides the means to sustain existing assets with long-term, multi-year, predictive planning. The team also prepares the near-term program for approval and implementation. This role, as a representative of the IFP team, facilitates the development and presentation of that plan for the attractions and facilities at the Disneyland Resort.

You will report to Manager-Integrated Facility Planning

Responsibilities/You Will

  • Use industry and Disney-specific experience to develop, along with maintaining the integrated multi-year plan for new assets and for assigned areas of responsibility at the Disneyland Resort

  • Use industry and Disney-specific experience to develop the multi-year asset sustainment proformas for new construction.
  • Perform statistical research to analyze data required
  • Work with leaders to develop business strategies, goals, and metrics
  • In partnership with Subject Matter Experts, develops and refines asset strategies (life cycle analysis; asset reinvestment strategies) and related impacts to all current year planning and long-term plans
  • Oversee complex programs with multiple team members and partners for us
  • Prepare presentations for executives and other leaders
  • Maintain a holistic focus on the property that may also include domestic and foreign entities
  • Identify and understand project-related impacts on all Lines of Business (e.g., Operations, FOS)
  • Provide communication with local and domestic partners
  • Independent contributor that will work with customers, project management, and scheduling to advance planning process through program final program reviews
  • Help develop realistic and accurate information for near-term projects to be presented for executive approval (detailed/comprehensive written scopes/justifications) for us
  • Develop preliminary scopes and facilitate discussions with subject matter experts (SMEs) to complete the scope development process
  • Exercise partnership, collaboration, and facilitation with multiple partners
  • Provide leadership and development opportunities
  • Use software applications available to facilitate Integrated Facilities Planning

Basic Qualifications/You Will Have

  • Highly organized

  • Well-defined approach to long-range facility asset planning/project management
  • Comfort with understanding and conveying written and verbal data and analysis to partners at all levels
  • Present quantitative analysis with qualitative insight into compelling recommendations in a concise story
  • Self-Assured, articulate, and professional speaking & writing abilities (and experience)
  • Familiarity with technical aspects of construction and maintenance work and methods
  • Well-developed mentoring, and facilitation skills to achieve department goals
  • Affect change of priorities based on the situation and maintain constant communications
  • Proficient in standard office software programs and mobile electronic devices
  • Demonstrated computer skill and database management (Tririga or Other Asset Management Systems)

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Current / Previous Disneyland Resort work experience

  • Understanding of how to consolidate multiple sources of information/analyses into a cohesive story and recommendation
  • Maintain accurate data and an inquisitiveness to explain data-driven results
  • Independent contributor
  • Work with new technology to improve processes
  • Flexible with work schedule (based on the physical location of partners, time zones can be a factor; based on the operational environment, walks and meetings can occur late / early)
  • Understand and satisfy clients and leadership expectations (keeping commitments)
  • Handle Intellectual Property and confidential information
  • Facility Management / Asset Management experience

Required Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field (Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management, Business, Finance, Construction, Engineering)

Preferred Education

  • Master's degree or equivalent

The hiring range for this position in California is $103,500 - $138,800 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered
