If selected for this role, you will report to the Senior Manager of North America Brand Communications (Softlines).
This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in Glendale, California, from January 2026 through June 2026
What You Will Do
- Assist the licensing team in researching and responding to licensee questions and/or requests
- May serve as the liaison for marketing approvals, routing to reviewers, consolidating feedback, and partnering with licensees to implement changes
- Assist with PR/Social Media requests, aligning to the marketing calendar, movie releases/tentpoles, and anniversaries
- Attend meetings and distribute notes to meeting attendees, handle follow-ups as needed
- Maintain and update sell-in documents in partnership with licensees
- Maintain and distribute licensee lists as needed
- Have a working knowledge of financial pivots and be able to run them for the team
- Take the lead on a team project and perform day-to-day tasks assigned
- Manage product samples and organization of sample storage
- Solicit and provide monthly selling highlights across assigned categories
- Stay up to date on marketing, product innovation, and relevant cultural trends - bring fresh ideas to the table

Education
- Junior or Senior year preferred
- Pursuing a degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field.

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information
Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all the requirements below
- Be enrolled in an accredited college/university, pursuing a degree, taking at least one class at the time of application, OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
- Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney Internship or Disney College Program.
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Possess unrestricted work authorization.
Additional Information
- The approximate dates of this internship are January 2026 through June 2026.
- Fully available from Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM Pacific Time Zone for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week.
- Be aligned with The Disney Look appearance guidelines.
- Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program in the Glendale, California, area.
- Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work.
