The purpose of this role is to drive our Rotational and Mentorship programs. Our rotation program, The Accounting & Finance Rotation Program (AFRP), employs on-the-job rotational assignments, cultivating key leadership and technical skills required to meet strategic business objectives while engaging employees, fostering long-term talent retention, and developing our future accounting and finance leaders. The scope of the Mentor Program supports not only participants in EFS but also includes Segment Finance teams and other corporate organizations reporting to the CFO. You will also assist with supporting the overall learning and development of EFS, reporting to the Manager, EFS Learning and Development.

Responsabilidades:

Accounting & Finance Rotation Program
  • Manage the programmatic aspects of AFRP, including orientation for incoming analysts, organizing monthly professional development speakers and content, end of program recognition for graduating analysts, and the bi-annual Showcase event
  • Manage the administrative aspects of AFRP, including partnering with HR Specialist to coordinate track rotations, bi-annual interview panel selection, communication of training/transition timing to hiring leaders and other partners, and end-of-rotation leader feedback
  • Partner with Professional Recruitment team on post-program placement process and timing
  • Lead the AFRP Mentor Program selection and assignment process
  • Lead strategic partner discussions with stakeholders at all levels within and outside of talent acquisition and the businesses we support
  • Lead socialization of the program to stakeholders
  • Provide regular updates to the AFRP Executive Sponsor and to larger stakeholder groups as needed, and focus on continuous improvement
  • Partner with key HR Groups and stakeholders to build program effectiveness and execute on program objectives including HR Business Partners, Compensation, Global Mobility, Talent Acquisition, Talent Development & Diversity, and Corporate Learning
  • Manage team objectives and goals, including budget and resource allocation
Mentor Program
  • Assist the Manager, EFS Learning and Development, to plan and execute the Mentor Program
  • Assist with preparing a communication and events plan including mentor program marketing emails, newsletters, and other communications including the use of Slack and Adobe Dreamweaver
  • Collaborate and influence team members to support events, communications, and programming throughout the year
  • Design and maintain the Mentor site housing resources and relevant information for the program
  • Communicate professionally, tactfully, and with the utmost diplomacy at all times. Maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times
  • Support design and facilitation of mentor program events including the logistics to execute any virtual or in-person events
  • Support mentor program inquiries and planning needs
  • Report and analyze key data points related to participation by function, segment, level, including performing variance analyses to prior year participation
  • Identify/support the development of course content for mentor program participants related to mentoring, personal and professional development
  • General support to a facilitator as needed
Learning & Development
  • Assist the Manager, EFS Learning and Development, to analyze, develop, and prioritize learning opportunities and present critical actions that address development needs for the EFS organization
  • Collaborate and consult with subject matter experts to identify opportunities, design and develop curriculums
  • Create and maintain EFS Technical Training and Development programs, library, and calendar
  • Manage and maintain current EFS learning vendors for CPE courses
  • Utilize D Learn to coordinate and track L&D activities and engagement/effectiveness
  • Support logistics (rooms, calendars, facilitators, and materials) for EFS learning offerings

Experiencia laboral requerida:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in learning, training, and career development
  • Demonstrated experience in leading project work
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills as well as exemplary customer service skills
  • Ability to effectively and professionally interface with high-level executives, clients, business associates, and employees
  • Have the ability to facilitate a sense of community around program participants
  • Work with limited supervision
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, handle confidential and sensitive information
  • A self-starter – Ability to anticipate issues and proactively problem solve using sound judgment with demonstrated ability to make real-time strategic decisions
  • Strong organizational and follow-through skills, especially in a dynamic environment
  • Demonstrated flexibility and professionalism in an environment where change is constant
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks with varying complexity in a rapidly changing work environment
  • Confident utilizing Microsoft Office Suite of products (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) along with learning and adapting to new programs and tools

Experiencia deseada:

  • Experience working with those who are early in their career journey
  • Possess an understanding of HR and communication systems and processes
  • Experience with marketing, communications, and collaboration platforms such as SharePoint, Confluence, WordPress, and Adobe Dreamweaver
  • Have a business knowledge of Accounting and Finance
  • Calculated risk-taker who isn’t afraid to step outside of the box
  • Excited about developing new ideas, designing solutions, and helping the team grow
  • Have prior or current experience with The Walt Disney Company

Educación requerida:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related degree
