Disney Advertising Sales (DAS) drives the advertising revenue across platforms for the entire media portfolio – including Disney+, Hulu, ABC, ESPN, Freeform, FX, National Geographic, Disney Channels Worldwide, and more.

The  Ad Sales Business Operations team within Disney Ad Sales is responsible for driving operational excellence and strategic alignment within the sales organization by delivering critical support to sales management and fostering cross-functional collaboration. It enhances the efficiency and effectiveness of sales force through streamlined processes, optimized procedures, and improved sales support systems. By managing and analyzing data across Sales, Operations, and Revenue Yield Management, the team provides data-driven insights that inform strategic decisions, improve performance metrics, and identify growth opportunities, particularly in high-impact areas.

Job Summary:

The Coordinator, Business Operations will play a vital role in supporting the organization’s vision and mission by assisting with financial analysis, operational coordination, and cross-functional projects that drive efficiency and strategic growth.

This role supports key business operations initiatives by ensuring data accuracy (financial, CRM, external research, etc.), tracking operational and financial metrics, maintaining reporting consistency, and collaborating across departments to enhance processes and workflows. The Coordinator will work closely with Analysts, Managers, and Senior Managers, providing critical support in reporting, process improvements, and project execution.

Responsibilities and Duties of the Role:

Financial and Analytical Support:

  • Assist with financial planning, including budgeting, cost management, revenue optimization, and forecasting.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of performance dashboards and revenue reporting for leadership.
  • Help analyze financial models and operational data to identify risks, trends, and opportunities.

Operational Process & Reporting Support:

  • Maintain operational trackers, dashboards, and reporting systems to ensure accuracy and consistency across data sources.
  • Assist in the documentation and standardization of business processes to support efficiency improvements.
  • Track and report operational expenses related to office logistics, real estate consolidations, and resource allocation.
  • Efficiently manage office seating assignments and workspace moves related to new hires, departures, promotions, team reallocations, and office relocations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration and Strategic Support:

  • Collaborate with Finance, HR, Operations, and Revenue and Yield Management teams to identify and track key business drivers.
  • Support the preparation of key updates, leadership presentations, and executive summaries.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives, working with Business Operations leadership to identify and implement solutions.

Market Insights and Research

  • Conduct research on industry trends, competitor strategies, and marketplace developments to inform decision-making.
  • Provide ad hoc analyses and recommendations to support strategic initiatives and competitive positioning.

Required Education, Experience/Skills/Training:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training or work experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including advanced formulas and functions) and PowerPoint.
  • Effective time management, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to ambiguity.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present insights clearly and concisely.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in advertising, media, or business operations.
  • Experience working in a matrixed organization or cross-functional environment.
  • Familiarity with business modeling, financial accounting, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau).

The hiring range for this remote position is $64,400 - $78,600 per year , which factors in various geographic regions. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
