Mickey’s of Glendale is the employee store that celebrates the work and creativity of Walt Disney Imagineering.  While the primary store based in Glendale, CA, this role will be sitting in Orlando, FL!

You will report to the Assistant Store Manager.

This is an Internal Assignment with no guarantee of permanent placement.

What You Will Do: 

This role will primarily be responsible for inventory management that includes supervising order reports, coordinate back stock for easy replenishment, and stock levels in key categories. You will also represent the team on the sales floor ensuring all sales objectives and goals are met while providing a high level of service that exceeds the guest's expectations. Not only will you support the employee store, but represent The Walt Disney Company and its branded products at conventions. In addition, you will also have responsibilities for the following:

• Work with eCommerce and product development teams to monitor inventory receipts. Support all steps to ensure new product is launched on the website and online events promptly to maximize the selling period to achieve planned revenue sales
• Assist with eCommerce orders
• Assist in reconciliation and compliance to daily cash, banking, and written store audit procedures as needed
• Participate in all physical inventories and actively support securing company assets through effective Loss Prevention
• Maintain the Disney brand visual standards and assist with merchandising, product placement, and replenishment
• Support sales associates including training and direction of inventory management tasks

Required Qualifications & Skills: 

• Minimum of 2 years of inventory management and guest service experience in a fast-paced retail environment
• An understanding of computer software such as Microsoft Office, Photoshop, Illustrator, and POS
• Knowledge of retail sales techniques and practices and proven cash-handling skills
• Interpersonal and team skills with the ability to empower and work with cross-function teams, executives, employees, and external partners
• Keen organizational skills, versatility, and ability to multi-task
• Demonstrated success in decision-making, subtlety, and flexibility
• Be highly motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal guidance
• Familiarity with visual merchandising
• Full-Time availability with flexibility for a retail schedule that meets the needs of the business including, evenings, weekends, and key off-site special events. Some domestic travel is expected
• Willingness and ability to do physical labor (climb stairs and work on a ladder, lift/move boxes up to 25 lbs, and other stored items from storage to staging/work area)

Education: 

• Minimum 2 year college degree or equivalent experience
