Enterprise Technology/Telecom is looking for an individual with accomplished professional experience to manage a Telecom Business team consisting of eight hourly Cast Members. In this role, you will lead a team that consists of procurement, financial and mobility operations.
This position requires a candidate who has a positive attitude and is passionate about service, support, and developing a talented team. The ideal candidate is a thought partner who is highly motivated and a self-starter. The Telecom Business Manager must have a strong background in accounting and finance to address operational and financial risk associated with technology Managed Service Providers (MSP).
The Telecom Business Manager reports to the Senior Manager of Telecom & Network Services.
Responsibilities:
Grow and develop a talented team of hourly Cast Members in Telecom
Partnering with executives, stakeholders, and technical team members to shape project reporting and forecasting, and provide perspective on the economic benefits
Financial Management (LTP, AOP, ACP) - review, analyze and present to Management and Executives through partnership with senior leaders and finance
Responsible for analysis, facilitation, reporting and providing recommendations for process improvement, improving quality, optimizing costs, and establishing appropriate process metrics and process controls thus driving outcomes and decisions.
Prepare dynamic messages for different audiences including management and other high-level executives
Identifies and interprets trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences and drive process improvements
Works with process owners and stakeholders to design a future-state business process that is better suited to the goals of the program or initiative
Engages leadership and other departments to obtain support and buy-in for changes
Ensure Service Now (SNOW) metrics and operations support of mobility users are monitored and responded to
Qualifications:
5+ years’ experience as a Sr Analyst with 3+ years demonstrated experience in finance, data analysis or business processes
Must possess strong quantitative and analytical skills combined with solid business and financial acumen
Advanced Excel abilities (Nested statements, pivot tables, charting, combining functions like Index, Match, Offset, and Indirect)
Oversees the building of analyses, data visualizations, and multi-functional reporting that provides critical support to the operations and decision-making
Strong relationship building skills and a highly professional “client service orientation”
Charismatic, dynamic, and effective communicator, able to leverage influence without authority to meet high profile and dynamic objectives
Must be an excellent team player who possesses solid interpersonal and organizational skills
Flexible, special-projects orientation coupled with solid multi-tasking abilities
High energy level, strong work ethic, self-driven, independent thinker who is results-oriented and decisive
Accustomed to managing large scale, multi-million, multi-year, highly matrixed projects
Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey data and analysis to internal and external customers; effectively able to extract and explain the “story” from the data
Intermediate knowledge of the features, functions, and transaction processes in SAP
Intermediate knowledge of SQL, R and or SAS to business analysis
Proven success collaborating with a range of partners while understanding multiple perspectives
Ability to participates in and lead change management activities associated with process improvement.
Engages leadership and other departments to obtain support and buy-in for changes.
Partners with management, project champions, and process owners to align process improvement initiatives with business objectives.
Required Education:
Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year college in Accounting, Finance, Data Analysis; professional certification desired but not required (ITIL, PMO and or IIBA) or equivalent work experience
Preferred Education:
Graduate degree in Data Analytics, Technology, Finance, or related field (MBA, MSA, etc.)
