Transportation Ops Center Specialist
Primary Duties:
Monitor All Transportation Operations by proactively responding to system exceptions and operations; bus route adherence, deviations, bus breakdowns, emergency alerts, roadway and weather issues.
Monitor bus CAD systems for changes to planned/unplanned operational adjustments and unit impacts due to maintenance and availability issues. Monitor and respond to Guest Service Call Center requests. Leverage Gentec to monitor Guest demand and Ops Sheet for documenting Guest wait times, hours of operation and to aid in completing research.
Support numerous operations which include but are not limited to Disney Buses, Skyliner, Monorails and Watercraft Operations. Facilitate communication between Leaders, Cast, Resorts, Parks, Maintenance and emergency response teams. We are a 24/7 operation and do ask for full schedule flexibility.
Facilitate day-before and day-of Cast Member attrition support.

Safety:
Build upon our long-standing focus on safety and security for our Cast and Guests.
Support “See Something Say Something” by passing observations called in to the Operations Center to the appropriate teams.
Courtesy:
Provide Disney caliber service to Guests, Cast and Partners while using telephone and/or radio transmissions.
Author timely, accurate, professional communication when using email, Everbridge notifications, Asgard bus arrival board system as well as other tools for communication.

Diligently maintain all appropriate records within the Operations Center, including the attendance log, signal 74 log, Guest call log, etc.
Efficiency:
Proactively anticipate and respond to potential Guest service issues within Transportation Operations.
Communicate appropriate information to Leaders in the field in a timely manner and involve the Transportation Duty Managers in situations as applicable.
Collaborate with internal and external partners to streamline communication processes when distributing notifications to Transportation and our Partners.

Technical & Business Knowledge – Demonstrate the technical expertise required to perform a specific function or role. Working knowledge of Microsoft products including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
