About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Scheduling Coordinator to join our Media Planning & Scheduling team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and delivering high-quality TV linear playlists for Disney Junior UK and Disney Junior Italy using the “What’s On” (Mediagenix) system. You will work closely with multiple stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely schedules that meet all brand, editorial, and regulatory standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and finalize daily TV linear playlists for Disney Junior UK and Italy in “What’s On” and deliver them to Playout.
  • Build and schedule monthly promo campaigns for both channels.
  • Input EDM (Edit Material) details into the monthly makelist for Creative Services.
  • Review makelists with the Media Planning & Scheduling Manager to ensure all promos and communication elements are ready for broadcast.
  • Approve promo campaigns in Mediator and verify accuracy of on-air versions.
  • Prepare autoslotters, style sheets, continuity planning, and insert secondary events (static and animated GFX) to optimize channel operations.
  • Monitor daily channel output to ensure scheduled content airs as planned.
  • Collaborate with Programming, Scheduling Operations, and Ad Sales teams to resolve operational issues and provide feedback on commercial occupancy.
  • Coordinate monthly with Marketing and Local teams for promotional requirements.
  • Provide transmission and performance reports as needed.
  • Analyze audience figures and competitor data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Contribute ideas for future campaigns and process enhancements during team brainstorms.


What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects under pressure.
  • Problem-solving mindset and proactive approach.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.


Experience & Skills:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in editorial/media planning or TV scheduling.
  • Experience in media planning and presentation scheduling is a plus.
  • Knowledge of kids programming and/or digital/social media is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with “What’s On” (Mediagenix) broadcasting software is a plus.
  • Degree in Communications or related field preferred.
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Fluent in English.
