The Hulu Publicity team is seeking a proactive and organized Executive Assistant to support our Vice President of Publicity. In this fast-paced and ever-evolving environment, you will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks that contribute to the overall success of the team. If you have a keen eye for detail, thrive in collaborative settings, and are eager to tackle new challenges, this role is perfect for you. Please note that this role is currently located in the Santa Monica offices. The team is expected to transfer to Burbank by early 2025.
Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day administrative support to the VP, including, but not limited to, the following:
- Maintain an organized business calendar and coordinate meetings.
- Prepare and manage expense reports.
- Handle departmental administrative tasks efficiently.
- Coordinate staff meetings and group gatherings.
- Maintain team contact lists and departmental documents.
- Take notes during meetings and track action items.
- Distribute relevant information internally to the team.
- Assist with compiling and distributing press clippings.
- Support the team during press events as needed (e.g., premieres, screenings, junkets).
- Contribute to special projects as required.
Basic Qualifications:
- 1+ years’ experience in entertainment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Google Suite.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong passion for television and a deep understanding of the competitive landscape.
- Ability to multitask and manage various projects independently while meeting deadlines.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Capable of handling confidential information discreetly.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative team player attitude.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in publicity is recommended but not required.
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
The hiring range for this position in Santa Monica, CA is $53,300 to $71,300 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
