Commerce, Data & Identity 

Commerce, Data & Identity provides the core product management functions for areas crucial to Disney’s media businesses. These include initiatives and products that power digital commerce, identity, and growth, as well as those that reach uniquely across The Walt Disney Company enterprise, such as messaging and privacy, among others. Additionally, it is responsible for the data engineering, science, and products for Disney Entertainment & ESPN, along with their interconnection with other parts of The Walt Disney Company. 

As a Product Management Intern, you will contribute to a team dedicated to empowering marketers and business users through innovative data products and solutions. You'll collaborate with lead data product managers to streamline our marketing technology stack, fostering data-driven decision-making and in-depth analysis of marketing performance for Disney+, ESPN+, and Hulu. This team is actively working to simplify and consolidate its marketing technology while enhancing tools to democratize data across the organization. If you're passionate about data and its power to drive subscriber acquisition, retention, and revenue growth for Disney's flagship streaming brands, this is an excellent opportunity. 

What You Will Do: 

  • Partner with Analytics, Data Science, Data Engineering, Data Architecture, Data Quality & Governance, Product Design, and other Technical Program Management team members to solve real business challenges. 
  • Support the development and optimization of data products and tools for data and marketing teams. 
  • Collaborate with a variety of teams, including Acquisition Data, Activation, Audience, Campaign, and Data Forwarding Service data product teams focused on enabling marketing teams to make data-driven decisions and be more autonomous in their ability to leverage data to inform campaigns. 
  • Assist with the product development lifecycle from discovery and ideation through delivery and iteration. 
  • Support the development and testing of internal data tools and dashboards. 
  • Gather and analyze user feedback to identify paint points and opportunities for improvement. 
  • Help document processes, create training materials, and contribute to team meetings. 
  • Conduct research on industry best practices and new technologies to inform product decisions. 

Required Qualifications & Skills: 

  • Strong communication skills; able to clearly express ideas and actively listen in both written and verbal formats. 
  • Analytical thinker with a passion for data and marketing. 
  • Curious, proactive, and open to feedback; eager to learn and contribute in a team environment. 
  • Collaborative mindset; thrives in cross-functional teams and builds positive working relationships. 
  • Interest in technology, digital media, and data-driven marketing. 
  • Familiarity with Excel, Data Analysis & Visualization.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills: 

  • Experience using SQL.

Education 

  • Currently enrolled undergraduate student in an accredited college/university, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Analytics, Business, Marketing, Information Technology or other related field.

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information:  

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program AND returning to school the semester/quarter following the internship OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
  • Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants:  You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.  
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization 

Additional Information:

  • Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
  • Fully available from M-F, 40 hours each week for the entire program duration: May/June - August/September 2026 (12 weeks)
  • Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program
  • Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work

The pay rate for this role in Santa Monica, CA and Glendale, CA is $42 per hour.
